Most exterior paint failures in Denver come from one of two places: bad prep or the wrong paint. We start with a full pressure wash to remove chalked paint, pollen, and grime, then hand-scrape and sand every loose or flaking area back to a sound edge. Bare wood gets spot-primed, gaps between siding and trim get caulked with a quality polyurethane, and any soft or rotted boards get flagged and either repaired or replaced before we roll a drop of color on.

Paint selection matters more in Colorado than in most markets. The altitude means stronger UV for longer — south- and west-facing walls take a beating — and our freeze-thaw cycle pulls moisture through siding like nowhere else.
